Since 2023, we've been dedicated to amplifying the voices of Shenzhen's migrant working class so that their geographical migration can translate into socioeconomic mobility. Here, we update on both small triumphs and momentous victories we've claimed for our community: a book compiling 11 biographies of migrant workers, a new municipal allowance for injured laborers, a legislative amendment protecting labor rights nationwide, and so much more. Carrying the stories of migrant workers, we are moving forward and climbing upward, one step at a time.
